Around the World in 80 Days

“Director Mark Shanahan and his cast whip up some intense suspense, inventive theater magic and lots of laughs in this madcap dash across the globe... Bruce Warren plays everything from a snooty Brit to a Yosemite Sam-like American colonel to several pirate-like sea captains, juggling multiple roles, in fact (often with some very quick costume changes)... some of my favorite moments are the smaller, subtler ones that deepen the show’s silliness... an unexpected moment when Warren’s judge tucks some money under his powdered wig.”

“Bruce Warren rounds out the quintet of actors, portraying a number of people, populating the world with on-target accent and quick costume changes, some of which are performed right in front of our eyes. Changing just a hat and accent, these extremely talented actors transform into totally different and memorable characters... Mr. Warren is especially funny as a befuddled judge in Calcutta and an old sea captain with a wooden peg leg... constant laughs.”
